Sales Engineer/Pre-Sales Engineer

US fully remote role

$100,000 - $110,000

ARCA Consulting is working with an established, innovative healthcare technology business to recruit an experienced Sales Engineer / Pre-Sales Consultant with a strong background in healthcare IT and technical solution design.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who combines technical expertise with exceptional communication and technical writing skills, particularly within healthcare interoperability and systems integration.

THE ROLE

You'll work closely with sales, business development and technical teams to design solutions, support customer engagements and produce high-quality technical documentation.

A significant part of this position involves technical writing, developing detailed proposals and responding to RFPs/RFx submissions, so we're particularly interested in candidates who enjoy translating complex technical requirements into clear, compelling written solutions.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Healthcare IT experience is ESSENTIAL – ideally within healthcare interoperability, EHR/EMR systems, Health Information Exchanges (HIE) or healthcare integration.
• Strong technical writing experience is ESSENTIAL – including technical proposals, RFP/RFx responses, solution documentation and technical presentations.
• 5+ years' experience in Sales Engineering, Pre-Sales, Solutions Consulting or a similar technical role.
• Understanding of healthcare interoperability standards, including HL7, FHIR and integration technologies.
• Experience designing technical solutions and supporting complex sales opportunities.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with InterSystems technologies would be highly advantageous.

PLEASE NOTE: Previous healthcare IT experience is a mandatory requirement for this position. Strong technical writing and proposal development skills are equally important.
