POSITION OVERVIEW – Marketing Research & Insights Analyst.- The Marketing Analyst/Coordinator researches market conditions at the local, regional, and national levels to assess potential sales opportunities for products and services. This role gathers and analyzes market data, evaluates competitors, monitors industry trends, and assesses the effectiveness of marketing, advertising, and distribution strategies to support business growth and informed decision-making.
Job Responsibilities
• Forecast and monitor marketing and sales trends by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting market data.
• Conduct consumer research and evaluate marketing strategies in collaboration with marketing professionals, statisticians, pollsters, and other stakeholders.
• Develop and evaluate data collection methods, including surveys, opinion polls, and questionnaires, and identify opportunities to leverage existing research.
• Research competitors and analyze pricing, sales performance, marketing approaches, and distribution methods.
• Measure the effectiveness of marketing, advertising, and communications programs and recommend improvements based on findings.
• Develop and implement procedures to identify advertising requirements and marketing opportunities.
• Coordinate and oversee trained survey interviewers to support market research initiatives.
Required Skills
• Strong verbal and written communication, negotiation, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize responsibilities, and manage time effectively.
• Knowledge of marketing principles and methods for promoting, advertising, and selling products or services.
• Understanding of media production, communications, and information dissemination techniques.
• Strong analytical, research, and data interpretation skills.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or an equivalent combination of education and training.
• 10+ years of related marketing, market research, or analyst experience.
