LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a respected law firm to recruit a fully remote Conflicts Analyst. This position is ideal for a detail oriented legal compliance professional who enjoys conducting research, analyzing potential conflicts of interest, and supporting risk management initiatives in a fast paced law firm environment. The role offers the opportunity to work closely with attorneys, firm leadership, and business intake teams while ensuring compliance with ethical and professional responsibility obligations.
Key Responsibilities
• Review new client and matter requests and conduct comprehensive conflicts searches
• Analyze conflicts reports to identify potential legal, ethical, and business conflicts of interest
• Research client affiliations, corporate structures, and related party relationships to support conflicts analysis
• Prepare detailed conflicts summaries and recommendations for attorneys and firm leadership
• Assist with the resolution of conflicts issues through waivers, engagement letters, and ethical screens
• Review outside counsel guidelines and assist with risk management compliance efforts
• Maintain accurate records within conflicts and intake databases
• Work closely with attorneys, administrative teams, and firm management to facilitate timely matter openings
• Monitor and update conflict records to ensure ongoing accuracy and compliance
• Support lateral attorney conflict reviews and due diligence processes
• Respond to attorney and staff inquiries regarding conflicts, client intake, and risk management procedures
• Assist with special projects related to conflicts, compliance, and professional responsibility matters
Qualifications
• Previous experience as a Conflicts Analyst, New Business Analyst, Risk Management Analyst, or related role within a law firm
• Strong understanding of conflicts of interest principles and legal ethics considerations
• Experience reviewing and analyzing complex business relationships and organizational structures
• Excellent research, analytical, and critical thinking skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify potential issues within large volumes of information
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work efficiently under tight deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with conflicts databases, intake systems, and Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
• Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment while collaborating with attorneys and colleagues across multiple offices
Preferred Experience
• Experience supporting large or midsized law firms
• Familiarity with professional responsibility rules and risk management procedures
• Experience reviewing conflicts related to corporate transactions, litigation, intellectual property, labor and employment, or other complex legal matters
• Knowledge of Intapp, Conflicts Manager, Elite, or similar law firm software platforms
• Experience supporting lateral attorney conflict checks and firm wide business intake processes
Salary: $65,000-100,000 per year
