Description Behavioral Health Technician Join Our Team at Recovery Unplugged! This would be a flex shift- need to be available to work 2nd shift and overnight shifts At Recovery Unplugged, we are dedicated to helping individuals overcome substance use and mental health challenges through compassionate, evidence-based care. We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and motivated Behavioral Health Technicians to join our team. This role plays a vital part in creating a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment for clients throughout their treatment journey. Responsibilities: Build positive, professional relationships with clients while providing support and encouragement throughout treatment. Maintain a safe and structured environment by monitoring client activities and enforcing program guidelines. Complete client admissions and discharge processes, including documentation and inventory of personal belongings. Conduct drug and alcohol screening procedures in accordance with company policies. Perform routine client safety checks and document observations accurately and timely. Assist with transportation, appointments, and other client needs as required. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of the facility. Collaborate with clinical and medical staff to support client care and treatment goals. Complete all required documentation in the electronic medical record system. Respond appropriately to client concerns, emergencies, and crisis situations. Requirements Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Previous experience in behavioral health, mental health, healthcare, social services, or substance use treatment preferred, but not required. Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
